Technical Leadership Experiences•Established Global Manufacturing Technology Teams to standardize processes and equipment across Delphi Electronics &Safety and to develop new and innovative approaches to manufacturing giving Delphi a competitive edge. The Plastic case insert molding technology and friction stir welding are two examples of this.•Establish and implement Product System Design (PSD) within E&S as a methodology to implement lean product design and innovation into our next generation products. PSD combines product designers and manufacturing engineers in a skunk works environment driving design for manufacturability. The plastic case radio is an excellent example.•Establish Bill of Product Alignment workshops for all of our product families which combine lean Bill of Design with lean Bill of Process.
