During this time innovation has grown from 10% to 15% of the total Diageo Ireland P&L. I have led the delivery and development of a series of consumer based, scale innovations that have disrupted and delivered category growth for both Diageo and our customers. The innovation pipeline has been driven by consumer insight and macro trends that allows Diageo to move into emerging categories, remain competitive in the fastest growing categories and enables our brands to show up in more occasions via breakthrough dispense solutions. Success has been driven by strong project management, creation of bold execution plans and ability to inspire the organisation around Innovation, creating the vision / future roadmap and getting buy in across all functions and levels of the organisation. This has required skilled multi-level stakeholder management and strong leadership across all functions from sales, finance, marketing to supply.
