Dr. Michael S. Cohen received his bachelor of science degree from Cornell University in 1998 during which time he worked full time at Abiomed in Danvers, MA as part of the Engineering Cooperative program. He then went on to receive his medical degree at Joan and Sanford Weill Medical College at Cornell University in 2002. He completed his residency in urological surgery and robotic surgery at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in 2008 having received grants from Nucryst Pharmaceuticals, having created a tissue microarray in conjunction with John's Hopkins University, and having published extensively on robotic surgery. Dr. Cohen is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Cohen manages patients with all urological conditions in particular Urological Oncology, Stone Disease, and Benign Prostatic Disease. He performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures with a specialization in complex robotic urological surgery utilizing the da Vinci robotic platform from Intuitive Surgical.
