With 19 years of post qualification experience I am an accomplished and successful litigation solicitor whose main area of practice to date has been related to a wide variety of commercial and Chancery litigation with a focus towards regulatory litigation, insurance disputes and professional negligence work. I spent a large part of my career working within a team which specialises in work for the Solicitors Regulation Authority advising on issues relating to the profession and its regulation giving me a broad and in depth knowledge of the work carried out by solicitors.The majority of my other work has involved significant claims in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court in a wide variety of areas including professional negligence, partnership disputes and company and commercial litigation. In addition to High Court work I have specific expertise in alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitrations. I also have Higher Rights of Audience and regularly appear as an advocate in the High Court.Memberships include: the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers, the London Solicitors Litigation Association, the Law Society Advocacy Section and the Solicitors’ Association for Higher Court Advocates.
