Part-Time Christmas Temp based in the Foods Department at the Kilmarnock branch. Providing a high level of customer service whilst working on the till and the sales floor, individually and as part of a team. I have been involved with all aspects of daily tasks including date checks, reductions, stock rotation, diary checks, department moves, stock taking and store and product presentation. I have also worked with company planograms in a confident manner.

Full-Time position within the Kilmarnock Branch. Following training at the Hamilton store and gaining further experience at the Ayr store, I was placed as Assistant Manager of the Kilmarnock store in October 2007. Since then I have also covered Management of the Ayr and Prestwick stores on several occasions. I was personally responsible for the Management of eight members of staff at Kilmarnock and the running of the store on a daily basis. This included training and development of staff, conducting monthly Team Meetings and personal One to Ones. Working with sales targets, KPIs and in-store promotions on a daily and weekly basis, I was constantly looking for ways to improve the store to the benefit of the company, customers and staff. Dealing with complaints on a daily basis in a previous position and having previous customer service experience, helped me to deal with customers’ queries and complaints face to face and on the telephone within Blockbuster. As a key holder for the premises, I was depended upon, greatly trusted and conscious of my important responsibilities as Assistant Manager. During October, November and December 2012, I carried out Mystery Shopping at all 26 Blockbuster stores within the District, throughout Scotland for the company.

Full-Time position within a local Bar & Restaurant. In addition to general bar duties, I was personally responsible for supervising members of staff and their training and development. I was also accountable for staff rotas, daily monitoring of/and ordering stock, dealing with suppliers, daily cashing-up of tills and daily banking of takings. As a key holder for the premises, I was depended upon, greatly trusted and conscious of my important responsibilities. As well as the role stated above, I was also in charge of state-of-the-art Digital Signage, £100,000 worth of TVs, quiz nights, booking bands and entertainment and mixing live sound within the venue.
