I have just been awarded my Master’s Degree with Merit in Applied Sport and Exercise Physiology with the key focus on: Clinical Exercise Physiology Performance Physiology Rehabilitation of the injured AthleteI also hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sports Science studying how physical and mental performance can be improved to help individuals achieve their full personal potential. The key skills I developed during this period were: Ability to design athlete and team specific training programmes  Use lab equipment to perform gold standard physiological assessments  Knowledge of the psychology factors that affect performance Understand the benefits of goal setting to motivate in performance and recovery settings I have participated in sport since the age of 5 performing well at both rugby and handball. I played in the fist XV school rugby team and to the level of senior colts at Caldy Rugby Club, giving it up to attend university. I have played handball for eleven years, was part of the England Handball Talen Pathway to U18 level and had the privilege of representing my country in an international tournament in Denmark winning a silver medal.For the past four years, I have been a member of Bangor University Handball Club and for three of those years I was appointed Coach to the Men’s first and Second teams and the Women’s first team. This involved the design and delivery of specific training programmes, intergrating those both with experience and those new to the sport, providing feedback for improvement and working with individuals on key areas of their performance. I continue to play handball and am a member of – Liverpool Handball Club.
