Manages Purchase Order contracts ranging from $50K to $8MIL; total of PO’s ~$50MIL Negotiates Terms and Conditions for pricing, schedule, warranty terms, identification, limitation of liability, payment terms, insurance, termination, force majeure and subcontractors Administers Request-For-Quotes; Structures all elements of a RFP – technical, contractual, schedule and cost – in order to ensure that all bids received are uniform Working knowledge of structural steel, transformers, pumps, valves, instrumentation, precast concrete structures, engineered skid systems and steam condensers Detects and works to avoid late delivery of supplier documentation & material by reviewing supplier production schedules, workload and sub-supplier orders Leads and participates in meetings with major suppliers to monitor their progress (Schedule vs. actual) and addresses areas of concern.  Anticipates delays/bottlenecks; works with suppliers and Project Management to resolve slow-downs in schedule. Controls and coordinates supplier shipments of equipment and materials to site. Confirming they are in sequence with field construction requirements

Responsible for (7) direct reports along with the management of inventory, shipping, receiving and transportation for the Lancaster, SC manufacturing facility Accountable for an inventory ranging in value from $6MIL to $8MIL with 1K SKU’s Issued weekly ERP reports of past due purchase orders and assisted Material Planners in expediting issues Maintained accuracy within ERP Material Master File for stock code information, including lead-time, pricing, supplier information, minimum buy quantities and purchase order data Ensured ERP parameters were maintained by monitoring minimum, maximum, safety, and current inventory levels; made recommendations to management for adjustments to levels Responsible for the daily scheduling of activities for the Shipping & Receiving Department – unloading trucks, prepping material for shipments and managing material flow to Production Oversight of offsite 40K square foot warehouse; (3) direct reports and equipment Organized and supervised inventory counts, daily and annual, to reconcile discrepancies  Coordinated with corporate logistics to move international shipments• Identified, communicated and executed cost reduction opportunities – working with Plant Manager, QC and engineering (old inventory, excess inventory, flow of production floor, material identification, material tracking)

 Responsible for planning a work load of 3,000 to 4,000 man hours a month in 2 of the 4 product production lines Maintained daily production schedules Project Coordinator on jobs ranging from $5K to $1MIL  Assisted with estimating upfront job prices and determining final completion costs Requisitioned materials in accordance with Bill of Materials and drawing requirements.  Approved and issued shop routers and production packages  Tracked that ERP functions and processes were followed in production and shipping entries for order closeout Worked within the MRP/PRP process to determine using stock material versus purchasing Project Manager for $1.2M in facility Capital Expenditure upgrades that better equipped the facility to allow for more product lines to be manufactured
