I am a facilitator for my nurses. I answer phone calls coming onto our floor and am in charge of allowing people through a security door on and off our floor. When new patients are admitted I am usually their first contact and help them get settled into their rooms. I then get them admitted into our systems and get all of their paperwork together. I help handle patient family members that are upset or in need of help. I directly help patients daily with whatever their needs may be. I also perform a number of audits everyday I work, monitoring staff compliance working on our floor.

I was a Sergeant of Marines. I was in charge of Vehicle Maintenance of Light Armored Vehicles (LAV's). I would help run physical training in the mornings with my men then we would go down to the vehicle ramp and work on LAV's. I would oversee day to day maintenance operations and make sure safety and proper procedures were being followed. I did two combat missions of 8 month cycles to Ar-Rutbah in the Al Anbar province of Iraq. I went on numerous recovery and rescue missions to fix broken down LAV's. My first tour I was with Maintenance battalion and helped bring mission readiness from 83% to 97% for the entirety of the tour. I also received a Navy Achievement Medal for my hard work and dedication. My second combat tour I was with Charlie Company and was directly in charge of 4 LAV's. I kept day to day maintenance on all vehicles and was involved in raids/post duties.
