Collaborate with the Product Development teams throughout the development cycle to ensure understanding of market needs and technical evolution of products and system solution approaches as they relate to the total user experience. Participate in early product testing to assist in the development and documentation technical workflow procedures. Analyze and define product training needs, methods (including facilities and procedures), deliverables and timelines. Collaborate with the Education, Design Services, Technical Support, Sales and Marketing departments in the creation and implementation of training assets. Training assets include system design examples, guides, instructor-led sessions, virtual classroom experiences, videos, and self-paced e-learning within the product release schedules. Conduct product demos as time permits. Collaborate with the Sales, and Technical Support to identify specific customers,dealers, distributors and system specifiers in need of training and work to raisetheir understanding of Meyer Sound solutions and their advantages. Manage one-on-one technical relationships with key customers and develop new ones by participating in one-on-one user experience trainings that help foster a shared responsibility of success using MS systems with customer and consultant partners.Assist with the technical vetting of application-based content such as marketing literature, and documentation.Stay abreast of best practices and tools across learning and training industry. Supervise a team of experienced designer/technicians providing high-level application support. Work with consultants, dealers, and customers to create designs with the goal of choosing a combination of products that corresponds with, and usually exceeds, their venue or tour’s requirements and expectations. Create complex system designs that consider performance criteria, aesthetics, room geometry, loudspeaker/room interaction, and budget. Communicate clearly and often with all clients and Meyer Sound sales/support staff including worldwide relationships spanning all time zones.Maintain strong evolving knowledge of the product line including 70+ loudspeakers and a growing number of digital products . Keep current with modern touring and installed sound system techniques for design and optimization.Develop performance criteria, create equipment estimates, quotations for services, full graphical design proposals communicating every aspect and advantage of the design. Supervise project maintenance over sometimes years-long life cycles including calibration and commissioning.

Design and maintain multiple audio systems to support four-show rotating repertory opera company - over thirty operas. Maintain extensive communications and video monitoring systems. Manage a staff of four audio technicians. Balance the needs of visiting artists, crew, orchestra, and music staff with the demanding schedule of repertory opera. Participate in recordings by NPR of 6 operas, and one each by the BBC and PBS’s Great Performances.
