Manage the loan portfolio for the Austin Texas Market

Manage the loan operations and lending function in a $250 million institution with a $96 million loan portfolio. Personal loan portfolio is in excess of $21 million. Supervise 10 loan officers in five branches dealing with commercial real estate, mortgage, agriculture, and agribusiness lending. Responsible for coordinating and implementing new business development through a loan participation network. Responsible for maintaining the Bank’s ALLL. Implemented training for SBA 504 and 7(a) loan applications. Currently serve on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Chairman of the Loan Committee.

Manage the loan operations and lending function for a $55 million loan portfolio. Supervise 4 officers and 3 loan assistants dealing with commercial, agriculture, agribusiness, consumer, mortgage and real estate lending. Act as the bank’s legal liaison for bankruptcy and lawsuits. Responsible for coordinating and implementing new business development through loans, leases, business and checking accounts. Process all SBA 7(a) and LowDoc applications.

Manage the Special Assets for 18 branches in the Lubbock division with total assets of $1.4 billion. Coordinate the collection, liquidation and re-marketing of special assets & ORE accounts. Assist in the restructuring of agricultural and commercial accounts. Act as the Bank’s legal liaison for bankruptcies, lawsuits and fraud investigation.

Responsible for managing the Association’s $100 million agricultural loan portfolio. Supervised all aspects of the credit and review function in the Association’s six branch offices. Responsible for policy and procedure implementation as well as regulatory compliance. Administered and maintained the Association’s allowance for loan losses and underwriting standards. Administered and managed the Association’s agribusiness loans. Implemented the Association’s Certified Lender Program and Preferred Lender Program designation for Farm Service Agency guaranteed loans.
