Through my political science courses, I realized that the global climate crisis requires not only political reform but a reorientation of capital markets and economies to finance sustainable solutions. This served as my primary motivation for establishing Horizon Capital management. A peer and I worked with the Dean of the Richmond Business School to establish Horizon Capital as a way to raise awareness for climate change and give underclassmen the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ESG investing. As co-founder, I organize weekly meetings, recruit group members, pitch stocks, and prepare briefings to educate members on the economic issues surrounding the climate crisis.

I have accepted an offer for a 10-week internship in New York City working in the consulting department at Brewer Attorneys and Counselors. I will be collaborating closely with the legal, consulting, and financial teams assigned to each case.

Richmond, Virginia Area

Gateway Capital Management (“GCM”) is an investment group managed and funded by students at the University of Richmond implementing a 130/30 investment strategy. As a general partner of Gateway Capital, I was accepted through a rigorous interview process to be one of 22 General Partners making all investment decisions, mentored by alumni working on Wall Street. My responsibilities include drafting weekly sector research reports, pitching stocks, creating in-depth financial models for pitches, and voting on investment decisions for the student fund.

During my internship with College Baseball Group, a company specializing in hosting recruiting camps for aspiring college athletes, I was responsible for researching and integrating sports technology into recruitment camps and managing their strategic partnership with Rapsodo. Additionally, I researched other recruiting companies to create industry comparisons.
