Currently designing and implementing a metadata repository to collect (crowd source) and analyze data governance assets. The solution captures detailed data lineage from multiple data movement profiles (file, streaming messages, databases). Enables BAs to specify source to target mappings without IT dev. Front end includes React and Material UI. Server side includes Postgres, Rest API in Nodejs and Java. Will be integrating with Collibra, Hive, and a semantic graphing tool. Also planning a data lineage harvest tool on existing ETL scripts. Having lots of fun on this project.
