In particular, I counsel clients on all aspects of protecting their intellectual property and monetizing it for maximum return on investment. A recent highlight involves assisting a Silicon Valley client with the transfer of several billions dollars’ worth of IP assets to take advantage of current on-shoring tax rules. I have built my reputation on reliability, attention to detail, and a multi-dimensional understanding of complicated technologies. Global players in the automotive and semiconductor industries come to me because I consistently maintain a high allowance rate in the U.S., Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan and Europe.Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as an engineer for IBM and General Motors, and served as a Vice President for a heavy equipment distributor where I was directly responsible for parts and service divisions having combined annual revenues of over $200 million.In addition to serving clients, I am also a member of Harness Dickey’s Executive Committee.
