Additionally, with a passion for critical analysis and a deep appreciation for and understanding of the complexity and interconnectedness of issues and decisions across organizations, I take a systems approach to leading organizations strategically and designing changes that capture the intended consequences of organizational initiatives but design for the unintended ones.Corporate Governance and Compliance. And finally, with a strong background as both a consultant, executive and board member, I understand how critical governance, control and decision making processes, structures and frameworks are to ensuring the an enterprises ability to execute against its short, intermediate, and long-term goals and objectives.Legal Operations Management. At the core of any legal executive’s responsibility is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of legal support services to the broader team. Whether that is contract negotiation and preparation, tactical risk assessment and management advice, or managing a company’s litigation portfolio, my roles have never taken me far from this core function of enterprise risk management.Corporate Investment and M&A. One of the most risky and challenging endeavors any organization can undertake is merging with, acquiring, or being acquired by another company. From opportunity identification and assessment, to closing and post-closing integration planning, I have the experience and ability to lead in all phases of the M&A life cycle.Oh yea, a little about me….When I'm not at work, I absolutely love spending time and traveling with my wife and 5 children.
