About Michael Daly

Michael Gordon Daly (Mike), has been working in the telecommunications field for over 35 years. In 1986 just out of school, Mike worked for a new developing industry in Canada. The industry was cellular telephone. The company was CANTEL. Mike’s position at CANTEL was working in the call centre as a customer service representative. After a short period of time Mike was promoted to the roll of Dealer service rep with a Corporate store in downtown Toronto. After 2 years Mike then moved on to work with Developmentally Handicapped children and adults. Mike worked at various group homes and workshops for 5 years.Mike has always had a keen eye for technology and soon moved back to the industry working in the retail area selling and installing consumer electronics for such companies such as Rent a centre Canada, and Sony.After accepting an Account Executive Role with SHAW Cable Systems in Richmond Hill, Mike excelled at building solid business relationships with Condominium Boards and Building owners in the GTA. Mike was offered a position with BELL ExpressVu in a similar role and held that position for 3 years until the division was closed.Mike has a passion for sales and technology and was then offered a Managers role at the new BIG BOX retailer that was moving into Canada. BEST BUY Hired Mike as a Home Theater Supervisor at the 2 Store ever to open in Canada in Markham ON.Mike then started his own Home Theatre Sales and installation company forming partnerships with various retail outlets in the GTA. The company was called SONIC BOOM SOLUTIONS.Mike was offered a position with Rogers CABLE as a Small and Medium Business Sales Account Manager in 2008 and worked with Rogers mentoring and training the sales team until 2011. Since then Mike has moved to working in Direct Sales as Regional Sales Manager and recently as the Manager Strategic Accounts with Rogers Communications
