Steak ‘n Shake is a classic American brand and we intend to lead and dominate the premium burger and milkshake segment of the restaurant industry.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manager: Instill the company's mission, vision, and values in all employees, promote a positive workplace by implementing employee engagement activities, maintain a positive company culture, plan headcount and staffing needs, complete recruiting and onboarding process, enter employee records utilizing PeopleSoft HRIS system, manage employee productivity and labor needs, complete employee schedules on a weekly basis, handle all employee relation issues up to and including termination, monitor all store activity to ensure alignment with corporate inventory, financials, and other company benchmarks, maintain a safe environment for employees by meeting all OSHA requirements and documenting all employee incidents, execute strategic plans to maintain overall success of the store based on company objectives.Operations Specialist: Effectively direct employees in the absence of Management, complete inventory control audits on a daily basis, anticipate labor changes and needs, fill-in in the absence of any employee in any position, resolve all customer complaints with the utmost respect and professionalism, perform daily audits and deposits of cash flow, and assist with store initiatives to achieve monthly goals. Production Trainer: Effectively train new hires on all back-of-house stations, cross-train existing employees, ensure all employee files are updated, manage annual training and food service recertification for employees, and ensure all standard operating procedures are being followed.
