Mike Davis is the Managing Director of Optimal Renewable Gas, responsible for accelerating the delivery of 10 grid-scale renewable gas projects across Australia by 2030.Mike commenced his career as a weapon’s electrical engineering officer with the Royal Australian Navy before transitioning to the energy sector. Mike has over 15 years of energy infrastructure experience developed across gas-fired power generation and gas transmission, distribution and underground gas storage projects. Most recently, Mike was responsible for the development of the first Green-Hydrogen-to-grid project in NSW and Australia's first biomethane injection project. Mike is also a steering committee member for GreenPower's Pilot Renewable Gas Certification Scheme and is a committe member for Committee member for the review of AS 4564 - Specification for General Purpose Natural Gas.Mike holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business and Technology.
