Responsible for the integration of new air traffic management (ATM) tools and technologies into ATOS and ASTOR, and for maintaining and upgrading ATOS infrastructure. Made extensive modifications to the ASTOR’s Pilot Model system to support experiments in Flight Deck Interval Management (FIM) and Separation Assurance (SA). Served as key member of the software team modifying the Traffic Aware Planner (TAP) for flight trials with Alaska Airlines. As part of that effort, led a team that developed the Ground Data Processor, which generates 3-dimensional convective weather polygons (used by TAP) from data ingested from a commercial weather provider. All software was developed in C++ and hosted on both Windows and Linux platforms.Also serve as Site Lead for the 11-person team of Metis employees supporting NASA LITES-II contract. Responsibilities include serving as company liaison at NASA Langley, screening resumes for employment candidates, reporting monthly on contract issues, employee performance appraisals, and time sheet approval.
