  The Dispatch Manager is responsible for planning the UPS Dispatch center’s daily activities to ensure timely and proficient service performance. He/She analyzes Dispatch results to maximize service performance. This position manages Dispatch Supervisors. Collaborates with others (e.g., Center Supervisory team, Industrial Engineering, drivers, Pre-load Managers and Supervisors, etc.) to create and execute Dispatch plans. Troubleshoots system, operational, and service inefficiencies and creates updated processes to improve efficiency. Promotes and supports the implementation and use of technology (e.g., trailer forecasting center system, etc.) to attain cost, safety, and service objectives. Monitors the technical functionalities of Dispatch planning systems to ensure proper operation. Monitors the execution of Dispatch plans to identify improvement opportunities and makes adjustments as necessary, ensuring business objectives are achieved.Allocates resources timely to ensure changing customer needs are met both internal and external.
