Designed and Developed Embedded Computing Platform for Locomotive Control Systems. This is a concept-to-product project including a common carrier/IO board solution with a COM Express System-On-Module (SOM), CPLDs, FPGAs, SDRAM, Flash, Ethernet Switch, Power Supply Sequencer/Monitor, CAN, Ethernet, RS232, RS422, and other supporting devices/interfaces. The SOM and FPGA were linked by PCI Express. One of the FPGAs included multiple soft-core processors.

Designed and Integrated a Helmet Mounted Binocular Display System consisting of a Mission Computer with aircraft interfaces (1553, RS422, Digital IO and Analog IO) and a fully integrated Helmet Mounted Binocular Display System which fuses sensor-based Flight Symbology with multiple video sources for in-helmet binocular projected display.
