Working at STEAM has given me the freedom to be more innovative in the classroom and apply skills I gained as an engineer. I've done things like had Algebra students program video games to see their math in action and led a field trip to the University of Kentucky Computer Science Department to recruit for a course I started in Computational Thinking at our school. I constantly reflect on my performance and get to constantly work on growing as a professional in a very demanding occupation.
