• Completed risk and suicide assessment, crisis and addictions counselling, crisis intervention, and de-escalation strategies for clients accessing the Centre, both in person and over the phone• Answered 600+ client calls accessing the centre for mental health support and completed 110+ hrs of direct face to face client care• Provided community referrals for mental health, housing, financial, legal, and addictions supports• Collaborated with clients in the development of individualized plans, driven by the client’s self-identified needs and goals while remaining cognizant of the client’s stage of treatment and readiness for change• Performed an anti-oppressive practice through a recovery and harm-reduction approach• Responsible for day-to-day functions and activities of the Barrett Centre including meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of the site environment
