This role has provided me with interpersonal skills as well as molding myself into an empathetic leader among residents and staff member alike. This job has demanded many instances where I had to quickly and effectively create solutions for unique goals and varying circumstances on an almost daily basis. One of the most important aspects of this position has been the skills learned to efficiently contribute to a team, more so than ever during the turbulent semesters that have followed from March 2020.

During this time as President of the Chi Mu Chapter, I had the daunting task of running a chapter that had almost all of its plans derailed due to COVID-19. In keeping with State and University Guidelines, we opted for a majority of our events and meetings to be held online to ensure member and University safety. While challenging at first, through the combined effort of the Executive Board and collective chapter we successfully completed our calendar year while still retaining member involvement and gaining over 25 outstanding candidates that became members all while in a non-traditional environment. Throughout this I maintained my obligations as President, which included weekly meetings with Chapter Advisors from both Alpha Kappa Psi and Sacred Heart University, meetings with our headquarters pertaining to budget and bylaw updates, staying in contact with other Fraternity Presidents on navigating COVID and attending Alpha Kappa Psi held events throughout my Region.

Worked in multiple capacities throughout the company, growing from a server to one of the senior members of the staff. Routine obligations were shopping with the company card, prepping food prior to jobs, coordinating with clients at job sites and enthusiastic customer service.

Spent time working with a team of fellow inters developing different marketing strategies in order to get local businesses in the Greater Bridgeport and Fairfield area to come on as sponsors. Worked extensively on Excel spreadsheets organizing different contact information for potential sponsors.
