Michael is an experienced urban designer, architect, and academic with 30 years' experience across a range of sectors and locations. He is focused on the design and future of our cities and the value of design to improve the lives of everyday citizens through sustainable and equitable frameworks. He is passionate about education and future of the architectural profession and advocates and supports those on their journey from student to experienced practitioner. He contributes to the Qld Chapter of the RAIA Education Committee, he is active in architectural awards judging, and he facilitates workshops for high school students to explain the design process to the next generation.
