While studying mechanical engineering, I received an opportunity to enter the energy field as an intern with a rising startup company. I proved myself as a valuable asset through my diligent work ethic, intentional curiosity and respect for the people I worked with and for. As a result I was asked to continue my work as a full time employee. I am now the team lead and primary technical point of contact for my team and help build and integrate workflows with other teams in order to drive company success. The startup company I began working for was acquired which began a chapter of extremely rapid change and desired growth. To succeed in such a dynamic and fast paced environment, it became a priority to define KPIs that would accurately define success for new team members and provide a tangible path forward. This looked like joining efforts and learning how to maximize team bandwidth. Making work accessible to other teams while setting them up to do well is not directly intuitive. Taking two steps forward meant pausing and first, mutually defining what customer success looks like, and second, seeing what things could be automated and how things could be optimized to achieve that best. I love seeing people become successful. Often times, a good team works too hard in the wrong direction ends up completing the wrong tasks. Transparency and alignment are two I greatly value in the work place. +++ Technical Achievements +++- Built 10+ critical alarms for production systems cutting manual issue detection efforts by 75% - Developed multiple dashboards for reporting that are being integrated into the product roadmap - Managed asset performance for a 10+ MW storage portfolio, generating multi-million dollar revenue
