About Michael Digiorgio
Michael DiGiorgio is currently the Digital Studio Director at Coastal Carolina University. For seven years he served as the Manager of Instructional Media Services at Bloomsburg University(BU) where he managed the activities and productions of the campus television and radio station. In 2009, Michael produced over 86 television programs for broadcast on BUTV. Michael was instrumental in upgrading the television studios to HD and implementing an Apple Xsan server to the mass communications department at BU. Michael graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a degree in communications and a minor in writing. He earned his MFA degree in the School of Motion Pictures and Television from Academy of Art University. Michael directed his first feature film "Natalie", as his senior thesis in college. He would later go on to produce the short film "Spectral", and a documentary on a band called "The Colorfield Theory". Michael also assisted in the production of the feature film "Restitution". In 2008, he created several short films for NBC's television series titled "It's Your Show". In June of 2008, Michael wrote the script to "The Soundtrack to My Life." The project was completed in March of 2010. Michael also completed the feature films "Witherfall", "Love in Bloom", "Bruize", "Jock Talk: Beyond Primetime", as well as the documentaries "Confluence", and "Full Volume Failure". Specialties: Accomplished cinematographer and editor, proficient on PC and Mac. Certified user of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro X, Motion, and DVD Studio Pro, Pro Tools, and Photoshop. Experience in DVD development, design, and marketing. Steadi-cam operator.
