Implemented and managed a Defect Management forum on a monthly basis and have accountability to ensure that a consistent defect management processes is followed.Own the Supply and Demand of the defect management team, conducting what pipeline plans look like for the team; therefore increasing or reducing the team size based on the demand.Manage all the estimates and quotes for work in the team. Any increases or decreases in costs are reviewed and communicated to the project stakeholders.Ensure stakeholder communications are concise with relevant set of steps, actions and owners.Ensure that standard defect management documents are used in order to deliver consistent messages, and feeding back on queries or changes to the team. I review current tasks and see if there is spare capacity to assist with the areas outside of defects on a best endeavours basis, if certain tasks need driving.Implemented End of Release defect report, which collates all defects raised detailing; Hotspots, leakage, warranty, live defects and can be used as baseline for future trend analysis. This has helped in determining defect densityDefect trends were seen on a number of as environmental issues. These were all reviewed with the environment and test teams to confirm if any changes could take place. The recommendations to improve the errors were created by the Defect Management team and put forward to the environments team.Implemented a defects leakage review, in doing this I reduced future reduce leakage in to the next test phase.
