I have 30+ years of experience in all aspects of physical measurements: planning, management, cost estimation and control, instrumentation, as well as, the acquisition, reduction, and presentation of data. I have extensive experience with static, dynamic, acoustic, and shock testing, as well as, the development of data acquisition and electro-mechanical systems. I have conducted tests on aircraft, automobiles, submarines, surface ships, circuit boards, missiles, the Space Shuttle, and a steel mill. I have conducted tests in laboratories, underwater, in-flight, in manufacturing plants, as well as, multiple field tests. These tests have been for components, sub-assemblies, and full-scale structures. I am also very familiar with a wide variety of instrumentation including hydraulic and electro-dynamic actuators, strain gages, thermocouples, thermistors, as well as, voltage, IEPE, bridge, and current sensors. I have used a wide variety of data acquisition hardware and software platforms including, HP, Agilent, VTI, LMS, B&K, and National Instruments.
