Working on an 80 acre family tree farm managing land and planting trees in central Wisconsin. I manage private forested lands for economic, recreational, and conservation purposes. Plant oak, spruce, and walnut seedlings managing health and vitality of plantation through timber stand improvements through collaboration with Wisconsin DNR foresters.

As a Behavior Technician, my highest priority is cultivating a supportive and positive environment for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs. I provide personalized one-on-one treatment sessions either in the comfort of their homes or within the familiar setting of their schools. My extensive training in applied behavior analysis (ABA) equips me with the expertise to effectively employ techniques such as reinforcement and prompting, which I use to teach adaptive behaviors across various developmental areas, including language, socialization, play, self-help, and motor skills. I also utilize strategies like differential reinforcement of alternative behaviors (DRA) to address any challenging behaviors that patients may exhibit. In close collaboration with caregivers, I develop and implement behavior intervention plans, ensuring consistency and efficacy in our approach. Through meticulous medical documentation and comprehensive data collection during every session, I track and assess progress on targeted skills and behaviors. I take great satisfaction in witnessing tangible improvements in language development and the acquisition of essential life skills among my patients. By nurturing their progress and empowering them to reach their goals, I aim to facilitate their successful integration into future educational and vocational endeavors, fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life.

In this position, I am working directly with board-certified dermatologists to provide quality care to patients in need of our assistance. As a scribe, I am recording physician interactions with patients and assisting with medical documentation. I keep records of visits, fill out paperwork and summarize treatment and recommendations by the provider. Besides continuing my experience as a scribe, I help patients get ready for procedures, check vital signs, and assist with medical records and billing, providing me the opportunity to see a more holistic side of the healthcare system through my medical assistant role. Other duties I have include assisting with procedures and ordering medications. I am exposed to patient communication daily building my social skills and instilling trust in the patients to learn what they value in healthcare. In a third role, I am a histopathology research assistant studying the microscopic structures of tissues to aid identification and understanding of the disease process in their clinical labs. This position is an incredible opportunity to see cancer-forming agents and be able to work on potential treatments and deepen my knowledge of various skin conditions.

I warn swimmers of any potentially dangerous activities and enforce pool facility rules and regulations. I administer first aid when injuries are present, rescue swimmers in distress and in danger of drowning, and administer CPR and artificial respiration when necessary. I also assist with chlorine water tests and recording of accident reports.

Distance swimmer competing in the 2018-2022 seasons in dual and invite meets in the BIG10 conference and NCAA Division 1. Practice over 24 hours each week through two to three practices per day while maintaining academic excellence. BIG10 Champions in 2019 and 2022. Team leader, tutor, and mentor.
