As a Conservator at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) I specialize in the treatment of modern and contemporary paintings. While at MoMA I have conserved iconic paintings including Pablo Picasso’s “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon” which was featured in the Smithsonian and The New Yorker magazines. I have lead several research projects including technical studies of Magritte, Matisse, Modigliani, Picabia, Picasso, and Rousseau.I received my MS in Art Conservation from Winterthur / University of Delaware and have previously worked as a conservator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Worcester Art Museum, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. My professional affiliations include the American Institute for Conservation (AIC), the International Institute for Conservation (IIC), and ICOM-CC. In 2013 I was awarded the Gabarrón Foundation International Award for Restoration and Conservation.
