EPSRC is the main UK government agency for funding research and training in engineering and the physical sciences, investing more than £850 million a year in a broad range of subjects – from mathematics to materials science, and from information technology to structural engineering.In 2005 i set up the strategic partnership between P&G and the EPSRC; in 2011 I chaired the Doctoral Training review for the EPSRC and have been a memeber of a number of other review panels.
