In the recent past I've worked in innovation roles where I co-designed platforms for cognitive edge workloads and advised IBM executives on system architecture, primarily in the areas of edge platforms and web services. I take responsibility for software architectures of both software prototypes and products. I author reliable, high-performance implementations for use both in the cloud and at the edge.I've worked with members of IBM Research and cloud performance teams to determine the performance at-scale of infrastructure technologies including compute orchestration systems, hardware-accelerated SDNs, and distributed storage. I've applied some of my work on Data Science curriculum at UC Berkeley to build a high-volume data pipeline publishing to a data lake of infrastructure facts and orchestration decisions for the purposes of deriving insight about the operation of regional compute zones.Previous projects I've worked on use Golang, embedded NoSQL databases, Linux LXC technologies for edge systems, and Scala reactive microservices for cloud services.
