Leading a team of 300+ Wesco associates managing $3B in Global Inventory

Leading various Supply Chain teams including: pricing, procurement, analytics, real estate, automation, supplier diversity, EHS, cost management, supply chain resiliency, indirect/direct/global sourcing and intelligent automation

In this function I am responsible for working with our various indirect (non-merchandise) procurement categories to create and implement projects designed to improve compliance to various purchasing policies, generate demand reductions or cost savings, and innovate around new opportunities for the organization.

As director and head of the environmental sustainability program I was charged with hiring and leading a team of 4 associates to find projects in the green space that maximize revenue and reduce expenses. The breadth of our program is much larger than other sustainability programs with our direct responsibility over the design and implementation of transportation, energy, waste management, supply chain, and associate and customer engagement. As our result of our efforts in just three years we moved from the 207th ranked fortune 500 sustainability program and 32nd retailer in 2009 to a top 100 ranked program and top 8 retailer according to Newsweek in 2011.

In the Sustainability aspect of my role I was charged with developing and creating a sustainability program aimed at coordinating current green projects and bringing in new green innovation for maximum financial and social gain. In the legal function of my role I was responsible for creating and implementing a variety of digital legal projects designed to create a higher level of compliance with state and federal laws as well as protect and preserve SHC’s reputational risk.

In my position I was responsible for all reporting and analytics for the Gift Card team. In addition I had the responsibility of using CRM and past promotional data to derive insights into the Sears gift card customer and redeemer behaviors.
