I am passionate educating and spreading my love of our Natural world and the Sciences we use in our attempt to explain and understand it. Currently I perform this task as an 8th grade science teacher. I am excited about incorporating both NGSS and STEM ideologies into my education, leading learners into the 21st century excited about science. Before entering formal education I worked as an animal care taker at a ZAA accredited zoo in charge of care for animals such as but not limited to; cheetah, girafre, tapir, anteater, etc. Before this I spent two years in informal animal education, developing and delivering live animal presentations that allowed me to introduce people to animals such as but not limited to; anaconda, monitor lizards, and alligators.
