Wollongong Hawks are a professional sports team in Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL).My role as Business Development Manager encompassed;- Responsible for the Wollongong Hawks commercial operations and implement annual sales strategies.- Develop and implement effective sales strategies with defined outcomes to meet budgetedsales targets.- Manage existing and potential client relationships.- Implement and manage systems and procedures within sales.- Prepare and execute proposals for existing and potential corporate partners.- Attract new clients and business to Wollongong Hawks from within and outside the Illawarra.- Organise promotional and exhibition opportunities.- Monitor client satisfaction and community perceptions and utilise feedback to positively maintain the product.- Develop and maintain a customer service program to foster client loyalty and commitment.- Promote Wollongong Hawks to existing and potential members and game day casual ticketpurchasers.- Develop Wollongong Hawks brand and increase awareness of the product and services.- Provide support to other areas within Wollongong Hawks to meet service delivery objectives.- Be actively involved with all game day and promotion events throughout the year.
