I work majorly with IP based equipments like Newtek Tricaster, Atem 4k Production Studio 4M/Es, Ross Open Gear 3.0, Matrix Switch Corporations, NewTek Live Text Character Generator, DVB Encoders and Decoders, Vitec MGW ACE Diamond Encoders and Decoders, Dejero Encoders and Decoders, Teradek, Holyland, Vmix, Panasonic equipments (P2 Cameras and Switcher), ForA switcher etc.Main duties performed (IT/Broadcast Engineer):• Setting up and operating production and broadcast equipment.• Analyzing and rectifying technical faults on equipment and systems.• Minimizing loss of service at times of equipment failure by rapidly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provision.• Installing and testing new facilities and equipment.• Setting up editing facilities in post production suites• Keeping abreast of constant changes in technology by investigating new systems, techniques and equipment especially new internet technologies.• Maintaining specialist equipment for video production, broadcast and interactive media.Main duties performed (Technical Director):• Directing of daily live shows and Recorded Shows --> Gudu morning Naija Show, As E dey Hot, Beta Talk, The Night Show, Clout Concert, Film Talk etc.• Configuration, setting up of Switchers Tricaster TCXD860, Atem 4M/E Broadcast Studio 4k, Panasonic Switcher etc.• Communicating effectively with members of the team and other colleagues, Interpreting and implementing instructions and requests from producers and other colleagues.• Keeping up to date with the industry by building and maintaining a network of contacts.
