Coordinate activities within the downtown commercial district revitalization program that utilizes historic preservation as an integral foundation for downtown economic development. I am responsible for the development, conduct, execution and documentation of the Main Street program. Act as the principal on-site staff person responsible for coordinating all program activities and volunteers, as well as representing the community regionally and nationally as appropriate. In addition, I help guide the organization as its objectives evolve.I have administered four $400K Community Development Block Grants for Downtown Revitalization working with the Village of Wellington and downtown building and business owners to complete over $12 million of downtown improvements. I have also worked as a consultant assisting in the administration of two $400K Community Development Block Grants for Downtown Revitalization in the City of Oberlin. I was contracted by Poggemeyer Design Group as a consultant to assist in the completion of the Wellington Downtown Revitalization Plan. I was responsible for completing the Promotional Strategy and Marketing Plan based on a marketing study and consumer survey that I completed. I also completed the Economic Restructuring Plan that based on a market analysis and business inventory developed a business recruitment and retention strategy for Wellington. Recommendations were based upon data compiled from merchant and consumer surveys and the HyettPalma Retail Report for Wellington.

Partner in a diverse agricultural operation encompassing 850 acres, which were located at three separate sites. The primary business segment produced, packaged, and distributed more than four million pounds of fresh produce annually throughout northeast Ohio. Primary responsibilities included the hiring, training and supervision of six employees and the acquisition and maintenance of equipment and supply inventory. Attended regular training seminars to remain informed of changing state and federal regulations and also technological advances.
