As a part-time Cast Member, I am responsible for operating the Mission: Space, Test Track, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Spaceship Earth attractions at Epcot as well as training 76 cast members at Mission: Space and Spaceship Earth on the operation of the attractions. I was also responsible for the development of an official Disney learning tool to train Cast Members on downtimes for Spaceship Earth.

My duties and accomplishments included:• Performing research on cooling a thermoelectric device to -55 ⁰C for biomedical and computer cooling purposes.• Developing and testing programs in C#, C++, and Visual Basic to communicate with a multimeter and power supply.• Amplifying testing rate from 6.667 to 50 measurements per second to analyze transient data more accurately.

Under the Discovery Fellowship program at Mizzou, I performed research studying resonant ultrasonic spectroscopy as a means of nondestructive evaluation. My duties included:• Measuring resonant frequencies of a variety of metals and ceramics to analyze crystalline structure differences.• Utilizing Linux-based programs to perform measurements.• Analyzing and comparing material data using Matlab to accentuate locations and amplitudes of resonant peaks.
