• Over the summer of 2019, I was offered the chance to perform paid research on thermoelectric cooling using the Peltier effect. My duties and accomplishments included:
• Performing research on cooling a thermoelectric device to -55 ⁰C for biomedical and computer cooling purposes.
• Developing and testing programs in C#, C++, and Visual Basic to communicate with a multimeter and power supply.
• Amplifying testing rate from 6.667 to 50 measurements per second to analyze transient data more accurately.

• Under the Discovery Fellowship program at Mizzou, I performed research studying resonant ultrasonic spectroscopy as a means of nondestructive evaluation. My duties included:
• Measuring resonant frequencies of a variety of metals and ceramics to analyze crystalline structure differences.
• Utilizing Linux-based programs to perform measurements.
• Analyzing and comparing material data using Matlab to accentuate locations and amplitudes of resonant peaks.
