Excited to join the Opsimum Team as a Manufacturing Operations Consultant. In this role I bring my experience of over thirty years in Manufacturing Operations to bear on critical Client issues. These assignments have three phases, Discover root cause; Analyze available data and together with site observation make recommendations to management on actions to be taken to solve the identified difficulty and finally Implementation. The solutions to the Clients "pain points" as identified by the Opsimum team is implemented through a direct or indirect assignment based on the allocated Consultants written report. In a direct assignment Opsimum expert(s) in the field will work and guide the implementation team to a satisfactory conclusion. In an indirect assignment the Opsimum expert(s) is available in a consulting role onsite or remotely whichever is most economically advantageous

Currently collaborating with Cogenix on solving inventory and service issues in a consumer products, vertically integrated manufacturing and distribution company. My role is to provide expertise in the maximizing of resource(s) utilization during manufacturing and minimizing inventory while maintaining a high level of Customer Service. The project is in progress

BiQube has developed a Sales Order to Shortage BUSINESS ANALYTICAL APPLICATION software speciffically for the Supply Chain applicable to any manufacturing or assembly business. When incorporated into an ERP system of any vintage it extracts information required by the user in the format requested. The product guides customer to obtain maximum value from their Supply Chain, optimize cash disbursment and improve productivity in all areas of the organization

The company was a maufacturer of Satnet and Radio Power Amplifiers. I was involved in the startup days in thedevelopment of the PA product line and worked closely with the Sales team to deliver the product to a major telecom user. I was instrumental in the implementation of Flexible Manufacturing and the application of Theory of Constraints to the manufacturing floor. We applied these capabilities to all our divisions in 5 countries

As the Vice President of Operations I implemented methods which eliminated the need for kitting as all materials were available in the Mfg Cells. The economic order quatity dropped from hundreds to 5. The impact was a dramatic improvement in delivery, cash flow and quality. I was also a driver in the creation of a new division with new products for the fiber optics market. We took this product public and eventually sold it to a major player in the field

My role was to improve the on time delivery of products, reduce inventory and improve the cash to cash cycle time. We achieved some very major imrovements, during my stay. Cash to cash cycle was reduced from 20 to 8 weeks; inventory was reduced by 60% through the implementation of Flexible Manufacturing; manufacturing cycle was reduced from 16 weeks to 4. All the bye products such as productivity, cash flow and EBTDA were increased by significant levels

In the final years I became the Director of the Flexible Manufacturing Development Center where we developed and implemented CAD to CAM data flow and fully automated PCB manufacturing lines linked to the design files.
