About Michael Feltman
As a creator of strategic alliances of key organizations individuals, both domestic and global, I have been called a talented “door opener”. I have a strong track record of developing coalitions in the areas of international diplomacy, military operations, and nonprofit missions. The most rewarding work I have done was as a senior member of the US-sponsored Middle East peace initiative. During this year in Jerusalem, I managed a complex array of issues and forged effective relationships with diverse stakeholders – Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians, and officials from the United Nations and European Commission.During my military career, I served in multiple joint forces situations, achieving strategic goals by working closely with all branches of the US military and foreign militaries. I enjoyed every assignment, from the US Air Force Academy, to C-17 and C-130 pilot, to Commander, to US Strategic Command Advisor. Each billet gave me an opportunity to make use of my operational and technical background while building partnerships to accomplish the mission. In the civilian world, I had the rewarding opportunity to serve as the CEO of a large international nonprofit organization. That work required developing and leveraging relationships with major US donors, government leaders, and NGO officials in eight foreign countries—and the hard work paid off: we doubled aid to children worldwide. I am a tested administrator with solid experience in policy analysis, personnel management, and command and control system operations. I am skilled at planning, organizing, and resolving complex situations, and accomplished at drawing upon all of these skills to lead organizations to achieve results in high-stress, resource-constrained environments, like those I found not only in boardrooms but in multiple military campaigns, from the first Gulf War to conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.I retired from the US Air Force as a Colonel and now I am assisting various organizations.
Listed skills include National Security, Security Clearance, Military Operations, Military, and 28 others.
