A Chartered Accountant, Michael brings extensive experience in financial control and accounting, treasury, tax minimisation, and management accounting. This experience has been gained in senior roles within New Zealand and also overseas in the Channel Islands (Jersey), Cayman Islands and London. These roles have been mainly been in custom as well as standard product manufacturing, heavy industrial, pulp and saw milling, construction, forestry, horticulture and farming. Michael has also recently been appointed as an independent trustee of a private trust and the chairman of directors of a partially owed group subsidiary company.
