Competitive Aquatics Director
Current- Responsible for an annual budget of $250,000. The budget included revenue from swimteam fees and fundraising. Expenses included coaching salaries, meet registration fees,and team registrations.
- Worked with coaching staff to develop their own workout plans so that they coulddevelop their coaching skills.
- Led swimmers to championship level at local, state-wide, and national level meets.
- Became the Chicago District Chair, which included overseeing the finances for theChicago District Swim League, running quarterly committee meetings, and coordinatingthe annual District Championship swim meet.
- Participated in the Child Safety Committee to ensure that the McGaw YMCA was a safespace for children.
- Organized parent committee to oversee various fundraising projects as well as socialevents for the swim team families to build a stronger community within the swim team.
