I was a Marine for 9 years from 2008 to 2017 I went on 4 deployments 1st was a MEU Helo company where I help in the earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010. I came back and in early 2011 I deployed as a team leader as a lance corporal to Afghanistan, I received a certificate of commutation and combat action. After coming home I was promoted to corporal and deployed as a squad leader on a UDP to Okinawa Japan where I received another Cert Comm. my last deployment was another MEU and for the work up I was acting platoon commander leading Marines through a work up for that deployment. was we received our Plt sgt I became a squad leader leading a squad of Marines again during the deployment. I was medically separated in 2017 after 3 surgeries to my left shoulder. I then became a police officer. during that time I was certified in SFST, EC/IR II, RADAR, CPR, and rifle.
