Managed communication and marketing activities for products and services offered by HANYS Solutions, the nation's largest for-profit subsidiary of a state hospital association. Charged with developing and implementing communication plans and marketing initiatives for a wide range of technical products, including healthcare data services and reports.

Coordinated communications and distribution of information to more than 500 hospitals, nursing homes and health systems on behalf of the only statewide health care association in New York. Oversaw all communications and developed content presented to the membership and used on the Web site. Assisted in the development of advertising campaigns, advocacy.

Managed all public relations and media inquiries for the largest state agency in New York. Worked directly with New York State Governor's Office and the DOCS Commissioner on statewide announcements relevant to criminal justice and the state correctional system. Served on the Department's Executive Team to coordinate public statements for local and national.

Worked with the New York State Governor's Office and the DEC Commissioner to develop energy and environmental announcements and generate media activity. Coordinated press events, speeches, public statements, and media releases for the Governor's Office and the Department. Managed DEC press office staff and nine regional offices on communications strategies.

Edited content and designed pages for local daily newspaper. Worked with reporters to develop competent stories for news department, and organized headlines and layout of pages, including the paper's front page. Responsibilities also included uploading and formatting the online edition of the newspaper. As a reporter and columnist, contributed daily.
