Structural EngineerIn the manufacturing and food processing industry, I estimated, designed and engineered various types of structural systems for the Tropicana-Bradenton and the Tropicana-Fort Pierce sites. Structures include (2) major process buildings, trolley-hoist monorail systems, gantry hoist systems, fall protection systems, tank and equipment foundations, conveyor and pipe rack support systems, building additions, mezzanines, finisher decks, reinforcement of existing structures and various access platforms. Projects included architectural and civil design when required. Other types of work include value engineering and optimization of systems. Also, I produced a Hurricane Mitigation Assessment Report used for identifying existing structural systems that were found deficient and/or vulnerable to high velocity winds. These issues were prioritized and a repair was designed as warranted by the client.
