After spending 13 years years in grassroots community service sector in Regina made the return to my hometown of Edmonton where I first cut my teeth on community-based programs.Overtime I transitioned from front-line programs to more leadership and administrative roles I grew a passion for supporting and advancing community services through a focus on capacity building and developing and maintaining solid administrative systems.I was grateful at the end of my tenure with Newo Yotina Friendship Centre (NYFC) as I prepared to make the return to Edmonton to be recognized with a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal alongside Teresa who has stepped up to take the reins at NYFC and is still going strong.
