Project superintendent & site supervision for commercial construction, municipal construction. Duties included all aspects of preconstruction, mobilization, and construction. Subcontract management and execution, identification and mitigation of project risks. On-site supervision of all trades for ground-up new construction, focused on new Fire Stations for Reeves County Emergency Services Districts 1 and 2 in the cities of Balmorhea, Orla, and Pecos. Management of relationship with Owner, Architect, Engineer of Record, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers. Scheduled and coordinated all trades on-site. Site logistics, schedule development and coordination, material laydown and management, work sequencing and supervision. Supplier management (long lead procurement tracking, nonconforming materials), document control and records management(change management & version control, redlines & as-builts, work control documentation). QC activities and reporting– QC plans, QC inspections and hold points, nonconformances and corrective actions. Project documentation (daily logs); permits, testing, inspections.

The process and procedures developed allowed for efficiency and allowed the department to maintain lean staffing.Operating a Robotic Total Station (RTS) on one to ten jobs in any given month from Galveston to Amarillo. Skilled in AutoCAD and associated Autodesk products, Trimble RealWorks (3D scanning and point cloud generation), Trimble Field Link (RTS software), reading construction documents and specifications.

Apprentice plumber responsibilities included underground, rough-in, and trim phases on20+projects. Underground installation of mainly PVC pipe up to 12 inch, manholes, grease traps, sand oil separators, trench drains. Rough-in with copper, pex, PVCandcast-ironupto18inches.Waterlines, water heater and boiler skids, storm drains including a siphonic system at Cy Fair High School. Trim work including lavatories, water closets, floor drains, floor sinks, emergency showers. Position expanded to mechanical layout and contractor coordination, focusing on clash detection on sleeve penetrations. Developed the underground layout process that Raven continues to use. AutoCAD detailing (roughly 6 months) included detailed plans evaluation, creating shop drawings for fabrication and installation. Additional adjacent duties included writing RFIs to forward to Project Management, working with Estimation department to improve processes, and working closely with other in-house surveyors to refine the layout process for future projects.
