I have experience in transitioning between a variety of different types of work including design and fabrication drawing production and editing, site surveys, on-site construction design support, project management and client relations. I am especially intrigued by new challenges and look forward to solving unforeseen and unique issues in design and construction.My design career spans over 32 years, during which time I have worked on a variety of projects in different environments including commercial buildings, residential structures, and industrial projects, both onshore and offshore. While much of my work has been focused within Newfoundland and Labrador, I have also worked on projects in Nova Scotia and Alberta, mostly in the industrial sector. Locally I have been involved with the structural design of a Living Quarters for two offshore oil platforms and structural modifications for an FPSO. During my entire career I have worked in the AutoCAD platform, but I also have experience in Revit Structures. I am familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and have used these tools in planning and presentations.
