I have worked for 30 years in Lutheran churches in British Columbia and Alberta. I have coordinated programs for teenagers, young adults, and for church music. More recently, I have enjoyed returning to school for graduate studies in English and Religion. It has been really interesting to teach a course in Religious Studies at the University of Alberta and a course about the Bible at St. Joseph's College, also at the University of Alberta. My newest adventure is my new role at LAMP (Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots) where I work with community leaders and Christians in northern remote communities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I also work with teams of volunteers from churches in Canada and the United States who serve in these communities by offering programs for children, youth, and adults.
