Throughout my college career, I immersed myself as deeply as possible into my studies. This included semesters with credit overloads and taking classes over almost every summer, either at my main university or another one that offered the courses I needed. This increased load of classes allowed me to leave college with 2 undergraduate degrees and a master’s degree, with a certificate, in the 5 years that I spent there. Although I do not have as much work experience as other candidates may have, my rigorous schedule throughout college has given a wider knowledge base that I believe will allow me to be valuable in a broader range of scenarios than other applicants.My undergraduate background of degrees in mathematics and quantitative finance gave me a strong education in statistics and mathematics through many courses on the subject. This education has proved very useful throughout my college career and will be useful in this position.Many of the projects that I have worked on during my time in college involved working with a diverse group of fellow students. These projects helped me to develop skills pertaining to teamwork that include managing multiple groups simultaneously and establishing progress checkpoints to ensure that work is proceeding in a timely manner.
